Review Services

How well do you know your network?

Often it's difficult for small business and institution owners to know what really is going on with their network. If you are lucky, you have a full asset list of every system on your network, and documentation of how your systems are setup.

Most small businesses and institutions have to operate without this knowledge, which means money wasted due to system downtime, unnecessary purchases (which duplicate existing system functionality), and lost man hours having to find the same information over and over again.

If this sounds familiar;

"How do I connect to the Accounts printer?"
"What's the password for the website again, I've forgotten?"
"Why did we buy this? We've already got one of those upstairs!"

.. then you need a network review

The Review Service is very simple

  1. A 'virtual audit' using software to inventory the network, and a physical audit to confirm the system asset information (and warranty status if appropriate).
  2. A short survey of key staff to measure their experience of the IT systems.
  3. A review of all network services including desktop and network applications, network services including file sharing, printing, security software, remote access etc.
  4. Documentation of network assets and configuration into a 'network bible', including any faults with PC, printer or network hardware or software found during the audit.
  5. Creation of a company IT Strategy document, outlining the role of IT, current state of operation, and forward planning.
