"Education, education, education".
Some things in life are easy, like watching television. Some things you can just pick up through practice, like riding a bike. Some things are best taught. Using IT systems falls into either of the last two categories, but for your businesses efficiency, and stress levels, IT is generally best learnt through training.
Many companies only use a fraction of the functionality available within their computer systems, and are failing to realise the value of their investment. It's similar to driving a car around without using all the gears, and can actually be as bad for the IT system as never going above 3rd gear would be in a car. Even worse, some companies find themselves purchasing additional software to achieve something they can do with their existing systems.
The training I offer is designed to address all these shortfalls, and comes in two forms;
- Bespoke training. Tailored exactly to the needs of your staff and your organisation, this training is designed to fill in gaps in knowledge rather than deliver a predefined program of training. This is most useful when staff time is limited, and where staff are experienced but need targeted training to maximise their use of systems.
- Courses. Courses developed (which continue to be developed) based on experience in the field and feedback from customers. Covering areas missed by most trainers, and only found by experienced users after plumbing the depths of vendor technical documentation, this will provide real world tips which will improve your systems effectiveness. Examples include 'Using Microsoft Windows Sharepoint Services Intranets' and 'Improving Productivity using Microsoft Windows and Outlook'.
I don't charge per person because it makes no difference how much I charge, I can only deliver the same quantity of training in one day.
